Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by the VendorTally team to describe how the app handles your data. It is app-owned editable content and is not an independent certification or legal advice.
What we collect
- Account information you provide: email, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), and profile fields such as home ZIP, home address, and target hourly rate.
- Event and business data you enter: event names, dates, venue types, booth fees, travel and other costs, mileage, daily sales, hours worked, and products.
- Billing information for paid subscribers: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We store the subscription status, price, and period — we do not store your card number.
- Basic technical data needed to run the service: sign-in timestamps and error diagnostics captured when something breaks.
How we use it
To run the service you signed up for: authenticate you, save and show your events, compute profitability and predictions, send account and billing emails, and fix bugs. We do not sell your data.
Service providers we rely on
- Lovable Cloud — application hosting, database, authentication, and file storage.
- Stripe — subscription payments and billing portal.
- Email delivery — transactional email (verification, password reset, receipts) sent from
notify.vendortally.com.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a managed database with row-level access rules that limit each user to their own records. No online service can guarantee perfect security; report suspected issues to the contact address below.
Data retention
We keep your account and event data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual events from within the app at any time. To delete your entire account, email us at the address below; we will permanently delete your account and associated event, sales, and profile data from our live systems and routine backups within 90 days of the request. Limited billing and tax records held by our payment processor (Stripe) may be retained longer where required by law.
Your choices
You can view and update your profile in Settings, cancel your subscription from the billing portal at any time, and request export or deletion of your data by contacting us.
Children
VendorTally is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, when appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.
